The Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Territory Manager will be responsible for managing an established Alberta territory while identifying and developing new business opportunities. This role combines business development, account management, and technical solution selling within the seed, grain, and food processing industries.

Working from a home office, you'll spend your time building customer relationships, visiting facilities, attending trade shows, identifying equipment solutions, and partnering with Nexeed's technical team to ensure exceptional customer support before, during, and after every sale.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships, working independently, and helping customers solve operational challenges.

What You'll Do

Business Development & Territory Management

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across Alberta
• Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the seed, grain, milling, and food processing sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding the customer base
• Attend industry trade shows, customer events, and facility visits throughout the territory

Sales & Customer Solutions

• Consult with customers to understand operational needs and recommend equipment solutions
• Prepare quotations and present value-based solutions
• Manage the sales process from prospecting through closing
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through additional products and services

Customer Support & Account Management

• Coordinate with technical staff during equipment installation, commissioning, and customer training
• Support customers throughout the purchasing process and beyond
• Coordinate delivery logistics and order management
• Maintain accurate customer records, equipment profiles, and future sales opportunities
• Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business

What You Bring

• Minimum three years of capital equipment sales or agricultural sales experience
• Agricultural background with a solid understanding of the industry
• Experience selling into the seed, grain, milling, or food processing sectors is preferred
• Strong business development and account management skills
• Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close sales
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Existing relationships within Alberta's agricultural, grain, seed, or food processing industries are considered a strong asset
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Alberta
