Summit Search Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Advisor on behalf of our client, One Insurance, a trusted name in Manitoba for over 70 years. This role can be based in-office or hybrid, offering flexibility alongside a supportive and professional team environment.
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Insurance, the Commercial Insurance Advisor will be responsible for driving commercial insurance growth through new client acquisition and retention of an existing book of business. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of commercial risk, is confident in handling complex accounts, and thrives in a proactive, client-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a book of 600–700 commercial policies
- Achieve individual growth and sales targets as set by leadership
- Provide expert coverage advice, risk assessment, and market placements
- Retain existing clients and prospect new business opportunities
- Submit new business to insurers and coordinate with underwriters
- Conduct policy reviews and assist with claims follow-up
- Build strong client relationships through in-person and virtual interactions
- Support the broader commercial team and contribute to a collaborative work culture
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of commercial insurance experience
- Experience managing mid to large-sized commercial accounts
- Strong knowledge of EPIC broker management system
- Comfortable handling a mix of commercial, personal lines, and some farm accounts
- Level 2 Insurance License required
- Excellent communication, organization, and risk assessment skills
- Proven ability to retain clients and contribute to team success
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and insurance platforms
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license and ability to travel when needed
